What is the difference?

MAG254

MAG254 is a unique open platform. You can make changes to our Set-Top Box software as well as integrate with other developers’ software.

MAG255

MAG255 is a closed platform that does not allow image modification. It has integrated Verimatrix content security solution and is meant for operators that already use Verimatrix.

MAG254w1

MAG254w1 is a version with a built-in Wi-Fi module of 802.11 b/g/n standard and 150Mbps bit rate. This modification allows users to establish network connection without additional equipment.

MAG254w2

MAG254w2 – is a version with a built-in Wi-Fi module of 802.11 b/g/n/ac standard and 600 Mbps bit rate (dualband). This modification meets all the recent industry requirements and provides users with fast and high-quality data transmission via wireless network.
